ABOUT
The Berlin Circus Opera Lab was founded in 2012 by Australian Composer & Arts Entrepreneur, Chloé Charody. Chloé founded the lab to train a generation of young opera singers in the discipline of circus. Many of the singers that have dangled on our trapezes and lyras have gone on to feature in several of our productions throughout the world as well as other high profile international productions including Soap and The Carnival. In our lab we are constantly striving to find new ways of combining circus with opera and are always super excited to meet and work with other like-minded singers. We call the new genre we are creating “Circus Opera”.
